Headache & Migraine Relief

Many headaches start in the neck. Tight muscles and stiff joints at the top of the spine can send pain up into the head, behind the eyes and across the forehead.

We look at your neck, your posture and the pattern of your headaches: when they come, how long they last and what sets them off. Treatment may include adjustments to the upper neck, massage therapy, acupuncture and changes at your desk or in how you sleep.

Headache & Migraine FAQs

Can chiropractic care help migraines?

Some migraine patients have fewer or milder attacks with care for the neck and upper back, along with managing their triggers. Migraines have many causes, so we treat what we find and tell you plainly what to expect.

Should I keep a headache diary?

Yes. Noting when each headache starts, how bad it is, and how you slept, ate and worked beforehand helps us find the pattern.

When is a headache an emergency?

A sudden, severe headache unlike any before, or one with weakness, confusion, trouble speaking, a fever with a stiff neck, or after a blow to the head needs emergency care right away.
