Spinal Screenings
A spinal screening is a short check of your posture, spinal alignment and movement. It shows whether something needs a closer look, often before it turns into steady pain.
The screening covers how you stand, how far your spine bends and turns, and how the two sides of your body compare. If something stands out, we explain it and recommend a full examination. If nothing does, you leave knowing that too.
- Posture from the front and side
- Range of motion in the neck and back
- Shoulder and hip height
- Areas of tenderness or muscle tightness

Spinal Screening FAQs
Who should get a spinal screening?
Anyone with occasional stiffness or aches, people who sit or lift for a living, and anyone who wants a baseline check of their posture and movement.
Is a screening the same as an examination?
No. A screening is a quick check. A full examination adds a detailed history and more tests, and it is the basis for a treatment plan.
Is anything done to my spine during a screening?
No. The screening only looks at posture and movement. Treatment, if you need it, starts after a full examination.
