Corrective Exercises
Corrective exercises are the part of your care that you take home. They strengthen the muscles that have been making up for an injury and retrain the ones that stopped doing their job, which is how the results of an adjustment last.
Each program is short and specific. You learn every exercise in the office, with attention to form, and then do it at home between visits. As you get stronger, the exercises change with you.
- Core strength for lower back pain
- Posture work for the neck and upper back
- Hip and knee stability
- Stretching for tight muscles

Corrective Exercise FAQs
Do I need a gym or equipment?
No. Most exercises use your body weight, a mat or a resistance band, and the routine fits into 10 to 15 minutes a day.
What if an exercise hurts?
Stop and let us know. Effort and muscle fatigue are expected. Sharp or spreading pain is not, and the exercise will be changed.
How long do I keep doing them?
Most patients keep a few exercises for good. Once the pain is gone, a short routine a few times a week helps keep it from coming back.
